Venezia grew up in New York City's underground rave scene, drawn to the high energy of Jungle and Drum & Bass. He began performing under the alias Drop The Lime in 2003, exploding into the punk electronic scene known as Breakcore, gaining an underground iconic status. DTL released numerous International singles and EP's on high profile labels like Ambush, Peace Off, Broklyn Beats, Mirex, and his infamous 2005 debut, "This Means Forever," on Tigerbeat6. From Breakcore's hyper-kinetic beats and DJ'ing heavy bass music like Grime/Dubstep, Electro to Baltimore Club and 4x4, DTL evolved into an underground club massive sound. Now, responsible for the bass heavy Trouble & Bass parties w/ co-founder Math Head, DTL is bringing a fresh spin on urban music. DTL has cut up remixes for a diversity of artists and bands, including Infants, Vyle, Bong Ra, C.L.A.W.S, End, Mathhead, Ra-X, Chris Glover,Atki2, Mochipet, Alan Astor, Kid606, and more.
