DJ, Party Producer, Booker of some of the worlds favorite bands and Dj's, and all around sweet guy. Jordan Z. has been working on the top fringes of what is truly cutting edge in Chicago night life Dance music for some time now.
Jordan is a rare breed of DJ planted here in the windy city. Born and Bred in Detroit Michigan. "I started playing the clubs when I was 18 in Detroit(circa '97) at a place called St.Andrews Hall, upstairs and in the basement which was called the Shelter". At 20 Chicago became his home, and for the past 8 years has worked hard to breed a spirit of newness, and innovation to what is being played to Chicago's party floors. "When I lived in Detroit, I was a kid who loved to go see punk rock and indie stuff, and Detroit house and techno","i used to love to go to parties where the dj was playing soul, funk, and Kraftwerk in the same sets". This diversified influence shows when Jordan Z. hits the wheels of steel, with an updated and fierce range of style.

. I started going to more rock clubs and gallery's to see shows and party which I loved! Simultaneously, I started to leave what I saw to be a stagnant club scene behind. Until Tommie and I met." When Tommie Sunshine and Jordan Z. met up they started to do parties that were not only one of a kind for Chicago, but first of a kind. Tommie being the older of two, has now moved on to movie soundtracks , regular Hong Kong, Paris, Australian gigs, and the glitz NYC lifestyles. Jordan Z. on the other hand is still working in the trenches and making your ass and body sweat on a nightly basis here in chi-town.

He's also booked, played with, and played for a dizzying range of artists. from Hot Chip to LCD Soundsystem and The Rapture and MSTRKFT to Richie Hawtin, to Morgan Geist(Metro Area)...... to name a tiny few.
