Since the dawn of the millennium Dalessandro has been amalgamating the classic Chicago dance sound with it's European counterpart in order to bring crowds to their feet and then finally to their knees as they are reminded of a time forgotten. Until now the Chicago sound has not been so appropriately updated for a new generation of party people both in Chicago and abroad.
Billy's fluid grooves and complex harmonic structures have found homes on labels both foreign and domestic, including Resopal, Soniculture, Disco Inc., Force Inc, Forcetracks, Konvex-Konkav, Relax and Kompute. In the beginning of 2005 Billy's "In the Dark" on Chicago based Kompute was included on John Digweed's Fabric 20 compilation. His latest dancefloor smasher "Come With Me" recently appeared on Mathew Dear's Fabric 27 mix.
Billy maintains an air of professionalism from his Chicago based Dojo Studio where original music concepts are given life and form. The future of Chicago dance music has arrived in the form of Billy Dalessandro as we prepare for a time where we are voluntarily strapped to stacks of speakers and exist within a shared anonymity at the center of heathen dance parties.
