BBR MONDAY SOCIAL

Music 101 Revives its Legendary Monday Night Status with
BBR Monday Social
Beats, Bass & Rhythm finds new weekly home at Debonair Social Club

CHICAGO - Music 101, Chicago's premiere music, promotion and marketing company, returns to the Monday spotlight with the launch of its new, Monday night weekly, Beats, Bass & Rhythm at Denoanir Social Club (1575 N. Milwaukee).

The BBR Monday Social is a continuation of Music 101's long-running Monday night parties, formerly held Green Dolphin Street since 2004. For four years, Music 101 continually strived to deliver its loyal music and nightlife fan base a brand of diverse, underground electronic and live music talent. The creation of a new Monday night will invigorate a weekly party that will continue to uphold top notch promotional philosophies embodied by the Music 101 staff.

"We believe that it is the process of planning and organizing events and the joy it brings to the community as a whole we care about," says Arman Razavi, founder of Music 101. "We are committed to this night and we intend to continue the night in a new location."

Moving Music 101's renowned weekly to its new home at Deboanir brings a renewed approached to the night, Razavi adds. Friendlier door hosts, more relaxed door policies, industry recognition and an enthusiastic, diverse staff are only a few new perks at the BBR Monday Social; an internationally acclaimed roster of Chicago, classic and deep house talents also dominates the March line-up.

Former Monday night guests and residents return to join the house-heavy sounds of the BBR Social, including Chicago house pioneer Roy Davis, Jr. (Large) and prolific promoter/Music 101 resident artists Brian Gardner (Soul Foundation).

Additionally, BBR will give non-house audiences a taste of the electronic underground, where DJs turn out club, hip hop and mash-up sounds in Debonair's separate sound room.

The BBR Social's new venue is Debonair Social Club. This boutique video club located in the historic Flat Iron Building aims to be a true social club by bringing people together through the arts and culture; Debonair provides a place to dance, drink, dine and listen to live acts.

The return of Music 101's legendary night brings a partnership of new hosts, including Stoli Vodka, Chicago Pride and Crunch fitness, and now, Debonair Social Club. Drink specials include $5 Stoli vodka drinks and $3 domestic beers. Music runs from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

BBR is just one of many successful events hosted by Music 101 marketing and promotions, company. For more than 10 years, Music 101 has elevated Chicago's house music scene, thriving as a promotions outfit, marketing company and record label. In hosting large-scale events in Chicago, Miami, San Francisco and beyond, it has earned a respected nightlife reputation across the globe. 2008 marks the launch of new parties in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
